Honey Sriracha Shrimp Rice Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Parsley
  • 0.5 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 lb Shrimp
  • 0.25 cup Sriracha
  • 0.33 cup Honey
  • 0 Cucumber thinly sliced
  • 0 Sweet peppers sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the rice according to package instructions.
  2. In a bowl, mix garlic powder, black pepper, salt, parsley, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  3. Add shrimp to the spice mixture and toss to coat thoroughly.
  4. In a pan, combine sriracha and honey, then heat over medium until it begins to bubble.
  5. Add the coated shrimp to the pan and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Slice cucumbers and sweet peppers while shrimp is cooking.
  7. Assemble the bowl by placing rice as the base, topping with shrimp, and garnishing with cucumbers and sweet peppers.
