Sticky Banana Bread Pudding Cake

Cook time: 60 minutes

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces bananas
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 3 pieces eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cups butter melted
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 cups butter
  • 1 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter to the mashed bananas. Stir until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and baking powder. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. While the cake bakes, prepare the toffee sauce by combining butter, heavy cream, and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.
  7. Once baked, let the cake cool for 10 minutes, then pour the toffee sauce over the cake.
