Cantonese Style Shrimp Wonton

Ingredients
- 1 pound medium shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1 egg lightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons Shaoxing cooking wine
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 0.25 teaspoon white pepper powder
- 12 wonton wrappers or adjust based on size
- 0 water for boiling
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix medium shrimp, eggs, Shaoxing cooking wine, corn starch, salt, sugar, sesame oil, and white pepper powder.
- Cook a small portion of the filling to taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Wrap the dumplings in your preferred style using a wonton wrapper.
- Boil a pot of water and cook the dumplings until they float, about 3-5 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
