Strawberry Cold Foam Matcha Latte
A delightful Valentine's Day treat with homemade strawberry syrup, refreshing cold foam, and a rich matcha base.

Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberries
- 0.5 cup sugar
- 0.5 cup water
- 2.5 tbsp heavy whipping cream Adjust between 2-3 tbsp depending on desired thickness.
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3 tbsp water hot
- 1 cup milk
- 0 tbsp strawberry syrup Additional for topping, as desired
- 0 tsp matcha powder Optional for garnish
Instructions
- Combine 1 cup strawberries, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup water in a pot over medium-high heat.
- Boil the mixture for 10 minutes. Then reduce heat and simmer for another 10 minutes until the strawberries are mushy.
- Strain the syrup through a fine sieve and refrigerate.
- In a small bowl, combine 1 tbsp of strawberry syrup, 2-3 tbsp of heavy whipping cream, and 1 tbsp of milk. Whisk until it reaches your desired consistency.
- Prepare the matcha by mixing 1 tsp matcha powder, 1 tsp sugar, and 3 tbsp hot water until dissolved.
- Pour the matcha over a glass of milk, adding more strawberry syrup if desired.
- Top with the strawberry cold foam you prepared earlier and serve immediately. Optionally, add a sprinkle of matcha powder on top.
