Whipped Brie Honey Butter Toast

Ingredients

  • 3 slices Brioche bread Each slice should be about 2.5 inches thick.
  • 0 Parchment paper
  • 7 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 5 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 0 Salt
  • 2.5 tbsp Honey Plus extra for drizzling
  • 5 oz Brie cheese
  • 1 oz Cream cheese
  • 0 Lavender flowers to taste
  • 0 Flaky salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Cut off the edges of the brioche bread and slice each piece into 2 thick rectangles.
  3. Place the bread slices on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and bake them for 2 minutes on each side.
  4. Mix unsalted softened butter, brown sugar, pinch of salt, and honey in a bowl.
  5. Spread a thin layer of the honey butter on all sides of each brioche rectangle.
  6. Bake the honey butter-coated toasts for 8-11 minutes on the first side and 6-7 minutes on the second side until they are deeply golden.
  7. Allow the toasts to cool on a wire rack for about 20 minutes.
  8. In the meantime, whip the brie cheese with cream cheese until smooth.
  9. Pipe or spread the whipped cheese over the cooled toasts.
  10. Finish with a drizzle of honey, lavender flowers, and a sprinkle of flaky salt.
