Spicy Garlic Bok Choy
A quick and easy Chinese side dish made with baby bok choy, garlic, and chili oil. Ready in just 10 minutes!

Ingredients
- 4 heads baby bok choy sliced into halves
- 0 cups water
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons chili oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Slice baby bok choy into halves. Carefully separate the leaves and wash them in cold water until the water runs clear.
- Finely mince garlic cloves.
- Combine chili oil, regular soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sesame oil, and sugar in a small bowl to make the sauce.
- On low-medium heat, add vegetable oil to a pan and sauté minced garlic until it becomes fragrant.
- Increase the heat to medium-high. Add the prepared baby bok choy and a splash of water. Cook until the bok choy is softened.
- Add the sauce to the pan, toss everything together for a final time to ensure even coating, and remove from heat.
