Korean BBQ Meatballs

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 0.5 cup panko
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger grated
- 2 tablespoons gochujang
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 green onions chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon gochujang
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 teaspoons water
- 1 teaspoon gochujang
- 0.5 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, panko, egg, minced garlic, grated ginger, gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and chopped green onions.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- In a large skillet, fry the meatballs over medium heat until they are golden and caramelized on all sides. Remove them from the pan.
- In the same pan, prepare the glaze by combining soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, gochujang, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and a cornstarch slurry. Cook until the mixture thickens.
- Add the meatballs back into the pan, coating them well with the glaze.
- Prepare the spicy sesame mayo by mixing gochujang, sesame oil, lime juice, and mayonnaise until smooth.
