Spring Cacio e Pepe Ravioli with Crispy Prosciutto
Trader Joe’s Cacio e Pepe Ravioli gets a spring makeover with crispy prosciutto, buttery sweet onions, tender peas, and parmesan. Minimal effort for maximum flavor, ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients
- 5 slices prosciutto roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 sweet onion finely diced
- 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 0.5 cup reserved pasta water divided
- 2 packs Trader Joe’s Cacio e Pepe Ravioli
- 0.5 cup parmigiano finely grated
- 0 flake salt to taste
- 0 fresh cracked pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the prosciutto until crispy, about 5 minutes.
- Add butter and olive oil to the skillet with the crispy prosciutto.
- Add diced onion, red pepper flakes, and salt to the skillet, cook until onions are soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in frozen peas and cook until heated through, about 2 minutes.
- Add reserved pasta water from the cooked ravioli to the skillet, using a total of 1/2 cup in stages.
- Gently add the cooked Trader Joe’s Cacio e Pepe Ravioli to the skillet, and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Stir in crispy prosciutto and finely grated parmesan cheese. Add more reserved pasta water if necessary.
- Finish with a sprinkling of flake salt and fresh cracked pepper before serving.
