Fish Taco Bowls
A delicious and customizable fish taco bowl topped with jalapeno lime crema and served over cilantro lime rice.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream full fat recommended
- 1 jalapeno seeded and chopped
- 1 lime juice only
- 0.25 cup cilantro chopped
- 1 cup white rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 lime juice only
- 2 tablespoons cilantro chopped
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound white fish fillets such as cod or tilapia
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lime juice only
- 1 avocado sliced
Instructions
- Prepare the jalapeno lime crema by combining sour cream, chopped jalapenos, lime juice, and cilantro in a bowl. Mix well until smooth.
- Cook the cilantro lime rice by adding rice, water, lime juice, chopped cilantro, and a pinch of salt to a pot. Cook over medium heat until the rice is tender.
- Season the white fish fillets with salt, pepper, and lime juice. Cook on a skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Assemble the taco bowls by layering cilantro lime rice, cooked fish, and a generous drizzle of jalapeno lime crema.
