Korean Ground Beef Bowls

Ingredients
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 0.33 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 0.5 tsp ground ginger
- 3 stalks green onions sliced
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 cups white rice cooked
- 0 cucumbers sliced, pickled
- 0 carrots sliced, pickled
- 1 avocado sliced
- 0 sriracha to taste
- 0 spicy mayo to taste
- 0 sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, ground ginger, and sliced green onions.
- Heat the avocado oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the prepared sauce mixture and add red pepper flakes. Allow to simmer until heated through, about 2 minutes.
- Serve the beef over cooked white rice with pickled cucumbers and carrots, avocado slices, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds. Top with sriracha and spicy mayo if desired.
