Honey Gochujang Chicken Kebabs
Delicious, protein-rich chicken kebabs marinated with honey and gochujang, served with pickled veggies and toasted flatbreads. A perfect combination of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors.

Ingredients
- 10.6 oz chicken thinly sliced
- 0.5 tsp paprika
- 0.06 tsp black pepper pinch
- 0.5 tbsp gochujang paste
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp garlic chopped
- 1 tsp ginger chopped
- 0.5 small red onion sliced
- 0.25 whole cucumber sliced
- 1.7 oz distilled vinegar
- 6.8 oz warm water
- 0 skewers
- 1.4 oz lighter mayo
- 0.25 tsp gochujang paste
- 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
- 0.06 tsp salt pinch
- 2 flatbreads
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 0 sesame seeds
Instructions
- Season the chicken with paprika and black pepper.
- Add gochujang paste, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, honey, chopped garlic, and ginger. Mix well and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
- Make the pickled veggies by mixing all listed ingredients in a bowl.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them for 30 minutes first.
- Air fry the skewers at 200°C (392°F) for 12-14 minutes or bake at the same temperature for 15-17 minutes, rotating them partway through cooking.
- Make the gochujang mayo by mixing all ingredients.
- Toast the flatbreads and spread gochujang mayo over them. Top with the pickled veggies.
- Mix honey and soy sauce together and brush this over the cooked kebabs. Scatter sesame seeds to garnish.
