Blueberry Custard Pie

Ingredients
- 3 cups blueberries
- 0.75 cup granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 0.75 cup sour cream
- 0 pinch salt
- 0 tsp vanilla extract a couple of teaspoons
- 0.25 cup brown sugar
- 0.25 cup granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.25 cup butter cold, cut into small pieces
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 0.125 tsp nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the unbaked 9-inch pie crust on a baking sheet.
- Fill the pie crust with 3 cups of fresh blueberries.
- In a bowl, whisk together 3/4 cup of granulated sugar, 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour, 3 eggs, 3/4 cup of sour cream, a pinch of salt, and a couple tsp of vanilla extract to form the custard.
- Pour the custard mixture over the blueberries in the pie crust.
- In another bowl, combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup cold butter cut into small pieces, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1/8 tsp nutmeg to make the topping.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the custard and blueberries.
- Bake the pie in the preheated oven for about 1 hour and 10 minutes, until the custard is set and the top is golden brown.
- Allow the pie to cool completely before serving.
