Cheesy Potato Mochi

Ingredients

  • 3 potatoes
  • 0 water enough to cover the potatoes
  • 100 g glutinous rice flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in a large pot of water until they are soft.
  2. Blend the boiled potatoes until smooth.
  3. Add glutinous rice flour, salt, and pepper to the blended potatoes and mix until fully combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into balls and fill each with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Melt butter in a pan and pan-fry the mochi balls for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Drizzle honey over the cooked mochi and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
