Simple Angel Hair Pasta
A quick and easy angel hair pasta dish with a luscious butter and blistered cherry tomato sauce. Perfect for a summer meal.

Ingredients
- 0 gallons water for boiling
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 pints cherry tomatoes blistered
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 8 tbsp salted butter
- 0.5 tsp salt to taste
- 0.25 tsp cracked black pepper to taste
- 10 leaves fresh basil leaves chopped
- 0.5 cups Parmesan cheese grated
- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- 0 leaves fresh basil leaves for garnish
- 0 cups Parmesan cheese extra for serving
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to boil for the pasta.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, add the olive oil and cherry tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes start to blister.
- Add minced garlic and butter to the tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper and continue to cook until the butter is completely melted.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped fresh basil and a generous amount of parmesan cheese.
- Add the angel hair pasta to the boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes until al dente. Strain and add to the sauce, tossing to coat.
- Serve immediately with more fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese on top.
