Simple Angel Hair Pasta

Simple Angel Hair Pasta

Ingredients

  • 0 gallons water for boiling
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 pints cherry tomatoes blistered
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 8 tbsp salted butter
  • 0.5 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.25 tsp cracked black pepper to taste
  • 10 leaves fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 0.5 cups Parmesan cheese grated
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • 0 leaves fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • 0 cups Parmesan cheese extra for serving

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil for the pasta.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, add the olive oil and cherry tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes start to blister.
  3. Add minced garlic and butter to the tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper and continue to cook until the butter is completely melted.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped fresh basil and a generous amount of parmesan cheese.
  5. Add the angel hair pasta to the boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes until al dente. Strain and add to the sauce, tossing to coat.
  6. Serve immediately with more fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese on top.
