- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 pieces marinated chicken breast
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large red onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
- 4 large tomatoes roughly chopped
- 0.5 cup water
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon dried fenugreek leaves
- 0.25 cup heavy cream
- 2 pieces air-fried chicken
Instructions
- Cube the chicken breast and marinate it with yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, and a blend of spices including ground cumin, paprika, and garam masala. Marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Air fry the marinated chicken at 400°F for 12 minutes or until fully cooked.
- For the sauce, heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped red onions and cook until they become translucent. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, then cook for another minute.
- Add roughly chopped tomatoes and a bit of water. Cook until tomatoes are softened. Stir in the ground cumin, paprika, and garam masala used in the marinade. Blend the mixture until smooth.
- Return the blended sauce to the pan. Add dried fenugreek leaves and a quarter cup of heavy cream. Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Add the air-fried chicken to the sauce and stir to coat the chicken pieces evenly. Cook for another 5-10 minutes to heat the chicken through.
