Firecracker Crispy Beef Rice Bowl

A quick and easy high-protein dinner featuring crispy caramelized beef in a spicy firecracker sauce, served with charred broccoli over white rice.

Firecracker Crispy Beef Rice Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 Tsp Sriracha
  • 1 Tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Honey
  • 1 Tsp Red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 500 grams beef mince
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger grated
  • 1 red chili sliced
  • 1 cup firecracker sauce
  • 2 cups broccoli charred
  • 4 cups white rice cooked

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the firecracker sauce. Set aside.
  2. In a pan over medium-high heat, add a small amount of vegetable oil and sauté the finely chopped onion until soft.
  3. Add the beef mince to the pan and cook until it is browned all over.
  4. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and the sliced red chili to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until aromatic.
  5. Pour in the firecracker sauce and cook the beef on high heat until it begins to caramelize and turn crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Serve the crispy beef with charred broccoli over cooked white rice. Garnish as desired.
