Ingredients
- 0.67 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 0.67 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1.5 lb medium raw shrimp
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 1.5 lb medium raw shrimp
- 1.5 lb medium raw shrimp
- 0.5 cup toasted panko breadcrumbs
- 0.5 cup bang bang sauce
- 0.25 cup green onions
- 0.17 cup toasted panko breadcrumbs
- 0.5 cup bang bang sauce
- 0.25 cup green onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread out 2/3 cup of panko breadcrumbs onto the baking sheet in a thin and even layer.
- Bake the panko breadcrumbs for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Once cooled, transfer to a bowl.
- In a bowl, pat 1 1/2 lb of medium raw shrimp dry.
- Add 1 tbsp of avocado oil, 2 tsp of paprika, 1 tsp of garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp of salt to the shrimp. Toss until fully coated.
- Heat a cast iron pan on medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned shrimp to the hot pan and cook for about 90 seconds on one side.
- Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 60 seconds until they turn opaque.
- Transfer the cooked shrimp to a bowl and toss with 1/2 cup of the toasted breadcrumbs, half of the bang bang sauce, and 1/4 cup of sliced green onions.
- Transfer the shrimp mixture to a serving bowl, and top with the remaining 1/6 cup of breadcrumbs and the rest of the bang bang sauce.
- Garnish with additional sliced green onions before serving.
