Campfire Monkey Bread
A classic Boy Scout recipe, this Monkey Bread is loved for its simplicity and deliciousness. This is a campfire adaptation in a foil pack version.

Ingredients
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 16.3 ounce flaky biscuit dough one can
- 12 tablespoons butter 1½ sticks
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 0.25 cup pecan pieces toasted
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Separate the biscuits from the can and cut each biscuit into six pieces.
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar until combined, then remove from the heat and set aside.
- Pour half of the melted butter mixture into the bowl with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Place a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Toss each biscuit piece in the cinnamon sugar mixture, then place them onto the skillet in a single layer.
- Pour the other half of the brown sugar-butter mixture over the top of the biscuits.
- Cook the biscuits until they have risen and are golden brown, approximately 25 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and sprinkle with toasted pecan pieces. Enjoy!
