Pull Apart Cheeseburger Sliders

Soft dinner rolls stuffed with seasoned hamburger meat, creamy special sauce, cheddar cheese, and topped with garlic sesame butter. These sliders are perfect for relaxed entertaining from summer through fall.

Pull Apart Cheeseburger Sliders

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.333 cup sweet Thai chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 clove garlic grated
  • 1 pound ground beef or chicken or turkey
  • 3 tablespoons gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0 salt
  • 0 black pepper
  • 1 package dinner rolls 12 count, halved lengthwise
  • 6 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded spicy cheddar or pepper jack
  • 0.25 cup dill pickles
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter at room temperature
  • 4 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 tablespoon basil or fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 0 aluminum foil for covering
  • 0 garlic butter from previous step
  • 0 special sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. To make the special sauce, combine mayo, sweet Thai chili sauce, tamari, ketchup, and grated garlic in a bowl.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the meat. Add Gochujang, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Layer the bottom halves of dinner rolls with sliced cheddar, spoon the meat mixture over the cheese, drizzle special sauce, and top with shredded cheddar and pickles.
  4. Prepare garlic butter by mixing softened butter, chopped garlic, herbs, and Parmesan. Spread generously on top of the rolls and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  5. Preheat oven to 400°F, cover the sliders with foil and bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted.
  6. Brush with any remaining garlic butter and serve immediately with additional special sauce if desired.
