Air Fryer Bun Cha

Ingredients

  • 14.1 oz chicken mince ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 0.75 tbsp brown sugar
  • 6 cloves garlic finely grated
  • 0.5 stick lemongrass finely chopped
  • 0.25 whole onion finely chopped
  • 0 salt a good pinch
  • 0 black pepper a good pinch
  • 5 oz water
  • 2.5 tbsp caster sugar
  • 1.7 oz fish sauce
  • 0.5 whole lime juiced
  • 2 whole bird’s eye chillies finely sliced
  • 0 spring onions finely sliced
  • 0 noodles cooked according to package instructions

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken mince, fish sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, garlic, lemongrass, onion, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into small patties and place them in the air fryer. Fry at 360°F (180°C) for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. While the patties are cooking, prepare the dipping sauce. In a small bowl, combine water, caster sugar, fish sauce, lime juice, bird’s eye chillies, and spring onions.
  4. Serve the crispy chicken patties with cooked noodles. Dip the patties in the prepared sauce and enjoy.
