Blackened Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients
- 1 Lb Mafaldine Pasta
- 2 Tbsp Salted Butter
- 5 Cloves Garlic
- 0.5 large Yellow Onion
- 2.67 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 Tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder
- 0.5 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1.5 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1.5 Lb Jumbo Shrimp
- 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 0.5 Tsp Thyme Leaves
- 2 Tsp Paprika
- 1 Tsp Oregano
- 1.5 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 0.5 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Pinch Salt
- 1 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 2 Tbsp Salted Butter
- 1 Tsp Olive Oil
- 1 Bunch Fresh parsley
- 1 Tsp Red chili flakes
- 1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook 1 Lb Mafaldine Pasta as per package instructions.
- Prepare the Alfredo Sauce. Melt 2 Tbsp Salted Butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add 5 Cloves Garlic, Pressed and 1/2 large Yellow Onion, diced to the pan and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add 2 2/3 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream, 1 Tsp Italian Seasoning, 1 Tsp Onion Powder, 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder to the pan and stir well.
- Add 1 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese to the pan and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Prepare the Shrimp. In a bowl, mix 1 Tbsp Onion Powder, 1 Tbsp Garlic powder, 1/2 Tsp Thyme Leaves, 2 Tsp Paprika, 1 Tsp Oregano, 1 1/2 Tsp Cayenne Pepper, 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper, Pinch Salt, and 1 Tbsp Avocado Oil.
- In a pan, melt 2 Tbsp Salted Butter and 1 Tsp Olive Oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until they are pink and opaque.
- Combine the cooked pasta, Alfredo sauce, and shrimp in a large pan or bowl. Toss until everything is well coated in the sauce.
- Serve the pasta with a garnish of fresh parsley, red chili flakes, and extra Parmesan cheese, if desired.
