Cajun Crab And Shrimp Spinach Dip

Ingredients
- 16 oz frozen chopped spinach
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 0.5 lb jumbo shrimp
- 0.5 lb cooked shrimp
- 14 oz chopped artichoke hearts
- 14 oz cream cheese
- 0.25 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2.25 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1.5 tsp black pepper
- 1.5 tsp smoked paprika
- 1.5 tsp cayenne
- 1.5 tsp sazón
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 10 oz lump crab
- 1 whole lemon juice
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Thaw the frozen spinach and squeeze out excess water using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
- In a medium pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the jumbo shrimp to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Chop the cooked shrimp into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, thawed spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, and all seasonings.
- Gently fold in the lump crab meat and the juice of one lemon into the mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the top is golden brown.
- Allow the dip to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with your choice of chips, crackers, or sliced bread.
