- 0.5 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1 batch garlic butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 2.5 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder.
- Add 2 tablespoons of fresh or dried parsley and 1-2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl.
- Pour in 2 cups of buttermilk and mix until just combined to form a dough.
- Melt 1/2 cup of butter in a saucepan over low heat.
- Pour the melted butter into a 9x9 inch baking dish, making sure to coat the bottom evenly.
- Transfer the dough to the prepared baking dish. Spread it out evenly using a spatula.
- Using a knife, cut the dough into 9 equal squares while still in the dish.

- Allow the biscuits to cool slightly before serving and enjoy!
