Apple & Gouda Turkey Panini With Sweet Potato Fries

Cook time: 45 minutes

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 large pieces sourdough
  • 2 tablespoons mayonaise
  • 1 tablespoon honey dijon mustard
  • 3 slices gouda
  • 0.5 apple
  • 4 slices deli turkey

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Peel and slice sweet potatoes into 1/2” thick fries. Toss in olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt & pepper.
  3. Layout fries on parchment lined baking sheet so they are not touching. Bake for 25 minutes flipping halfway.
  4. Airfy turkey bacon on 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 7-10 minutes (check at 7 minutes & cook longer for desired crispiness).
  5. Spread mayonaise on outside of bread slices.
  6. On the inside of one slice, spread honey dijon mustard.
  7. Layer gouda over mustard, then sliced apples, deli turkey, and turkey bacon in that order.
  8. On a pan preheated (make sure it is preheated!) to medium low heat, toast panini for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  9. Slice panini in half once done and serve with sweet potato fries.
  10. Enjoy!
