Apple & Gouda Turkey Panini With Sweet Potato Fries
This Apple & Gouda Turkey Panini is the ultimate fall sandwich. Along with turkey & sliced apples, it’s has layers of melty gouda, crispy bacon & a honey dijon spread. Served with baked sweet potato fries, it’s sweet, savory, and perfectly satisfying.

Ingredients
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon pepper
- 3 slices turkey bacon
- 2 large pieces sourdough
- 2 tablespoons mayonaise
- 1 tablespoon honey dijon mustard
- 3 slices gouda
- 0.5 apple
- 4 slices deli turkey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Peel and slice sweet potatoes into 1/2” thick fries. Toss in olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt & pepper.
- Layout fries on parchment lined baking sheet so they are not touching. Bake for 25 minutes flipping halfway.
- Airfy turkey bacon on 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 7-10 minutes (check at 7 minutes & cook longer for desired crispiness).
- Spread mayonaise on outside of bread slices.
- On the inside of one slice, spread honey dijon mustard.
- Layer gouda over mustard, then sliced apples, deli turkey, and turkey bacon in that order.
- On a pan preheated (make sure it is preheated!) to medium low heat, toast panini for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Slice panini in half once done and serve with sweet potato fries.
