Spiced Orange Mocktail
A chilled nonalcoholic drink built by stirring orange juice with lemon juice, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, and salt, then dividing the base between two glasses and topping each with soda water for a light fizz. The drink is bright, gently spiced, and meant to be served very cold.

Ingredients
- 100 g Ice for chilling and serving
- 300 ml Orange juice freshly squeezed or pulp-free, chilled
- 20 ml Lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 20 ml Maple syrup none
- 1 g Ground cinnamon none
- 0.5 g Ground ginger none
- 0.5 g Fine salt none
- 280 ml Soda water well chilled
- 100 g Ice for chilling and serving
- 4 pieces Orange slices for garnish
- 2 pieces Cinnamon stick for garnish
Instructions
- If desired, chill the 2 glasses with 100 g of the ice while you mix the drink, then discard that chilling ice or keep it for serving. Glasses feel cold to the touch.
- In a mixing jug, combine the orange juice, lemon juice, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and fine salt. Stir until the maple syrup is dissolved and the spices are evenly dispersed. The liquid looks uniform with no visible syrup streaks.
- Divide the spiced orange base evenly between the 2 chilled glasses, pouring about 170 ml into each glass. Each glass is about two-thirds full before topping.
- Top each glass with 140 ml soda water, pouring slowly to preserve the fizz. A light foam forms and the drink is fully topped up.
- Add the remaining 100 g ice to the glasses if needed, then garnish with the optional orange slices and cinnamon sticks. The mocktail is cold, fizzy, and ready to serve.
