Easy Upside Down Pear Tart

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon butter softened
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 to 4 pears cored and sliced
  • 1 sheet puff pastry cut into a circle

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Oven is preheated.
  2. Spread the softened butter in the baking pan or tart pan. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon over the butter. Butter is covered with the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  3. Arrange the cored and sliced pears over the brown sugar mixture. Pears are arranged in the pan.
  4. Place the puff pastry cut into a circle over the pears, tucking the edges as needed. Pears are covered by the pastry.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown. Pastry is golden brown.
