Big Batch Apple Cider Margaritas

Ingredients
- 0.1875 gallon apple cider
- 0.3125 gallon apple cider
- 2 cup tequila
- 0.6666666667 cup triple sec
- 0.3333333333 cup lime juice
- 3 tablespoon maple syrup plus more for serving
- 1 count cinnamon stick plus more for garnish
- 3 tablespoon white sugar
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch kosher salt
Instructions
- Pour 3 cups from the apple cider jug and set aside for another use. 3 cups of cider have been removed and reserved.
- To the remaining cider in the jug, add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and maple syrup. Add the cinnamon stick and place the cap on top. Tilt the jug to combine the ingredients and refrigerate until very chilled, at least 2 hours. Mixture is combined and chilled at least 2 hours.
- When ready to serve, mix the sugar, cinnamon, and salt together in a small shallow dish. Pour a little maple syrup in a second small shallow dish. Rim ingredients are ready.
- Dip the rim of the serving glass in maple syrup and then in the cinnamon sugar. Fill the glass with ice. Glass is rimmed and filled with ice.
- Add the desired amount of margarita to a shaker and add a few ice cubes. Shake well until lightly frothy and pour over ice. Serve with an apple slice and cinnamon stick if desired. Drink is shaken, poured, and served.
