Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 0.5 large yellow onion
- 1 whole jalapeño
- 14 oz thinly shaved steak
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 1.5 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 8 oz yellow American cheese
- 8 oz white American cheese
- 7 whole egg roll wrappers
- 1 for frying avocado oil
Instructions
- Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add 1/2 large diced yellow onion and 1 diced jalapeño to the pan and sauté until softened.
- Add 14 oz of thinly shaved steak to the pan and cook until browned.
- Season the steak with 1.5 tsp of salt, 1.5 tsp of black pepper, 1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, 2 tsp of onion powder, and 2 tsp of garlic powder. Stir well to combine.
- Add 8 oz of yellow American cheese and 8 oz of white American cheese to the pan, reserving 2 oz of each for wrapping. Stir until the cheese has melted and the mixture is well combined.
- Lay out 7 egg roll wrappers and distribute the steak and cheese mixture evenly among them. Fold the wrappers according to package instructions, using the reserved cheese to help seal the edges.
- Heat avocado oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, then drain on paper towels.
