Autumn Berry Mocktail

This non-alcoholic drink combines cranberry juice, orange juice, muddled berries, and sparkling water for a bright, fizzy beverage. The berries are lightly crushed to release juice without making the drink pulpy, and the finished mocktail is served cold over ice.

Autumn Berry Mocktail

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 80 g mixed berries fresh, rinsed
  • 240 ml cranberry juice chilled
  • 60 ml orange juice chilled
  • 15 ml lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 10 ml simple syrup optional
  • 240 g ice for serving
  • 240 ml sparkling water well chilled
  • 4 g mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Divide the mixed berries between a small bowl and the bottom of a measuring jug. Muddle gently until the berries are lightly crushed and juicy, leaving some pieces intact. The berries look bruised and glossy, with visible juice in the bowl.
  2. Add the cranberry juice, orange juice, lemon juice, and optional simple syrup to the berry mixture. Stir until combined. The liquid is evenly tinted berry-red and the syrup, if used, is fully dissolved.
  3. Strain the mixture into the two glasses over the ice, dividing it evenly. Top each glass with sparkling water and stir once gently to preserve the bubbles. Each glass is chilled, fizzy, and visibly layered with ice.
  4. Garnish each drink with mint leaves and serve immediately. The mint is freshly scented and the drink is cold and effervescent.
