Tropical Green Smoothie

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 60 g baby spinach washed and packed
  • 120 g banana peeled
  • 150 g mango chunks fresh or thawed if frozen
  • 300 ml coconut water chilled
  • 120 g plain Greek yogurt cold
  • 15 ml lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 120 g ice as needed for a colder, thicker drink
  • 10 g honey optional, for sweeter fruit

Instructions

  1. Add the spinach, banana, mango, coconut water, Greek yogurt, and lime juice to the blender. If you want a colder, thicker smoothie, add the ice now. If the fruit is especially sweet, the honey is optional and can be added now as well. All ingredients are in the blender.
  2. Blend on high until completely smooth, 30 to 60 seconds. Stop and scrape down the sides once if needed, then blend again briefly until no leafy pieces remain. The mixture is smooth, pale green, and uniform with no visible spinach pieces.
  3. Taste and adjust the thickness with a small splash of coconut water if needed, then pour into 2 glasses and serve immediately. The smoothie pours easily and holds a lightly thick, drinkable texture.
